n-Propanol, also known as 1-propanol, is a clear, colorless alcohol solvent with moderate volatility and strong dissolving power for many resins, oils, waxes and organic compounds. Our industrial grade n-Propanol is produced under strict process control, with minimum purity of 99.5%, low water content and stable quality, making it suitable for high-demand coating, printing ink and adhesive applications. It is widely used as a solvent, co-solvent and viscosity regulator in baking finishes, nitrocellulose lacquers, printing inks, laminating adhesives and rubber cement formulations. Because of its good evaporation balance, n-Propanol helps improve coating leveling, reduce surface orange peel and pinhole defects, and maintain stable ink flow during high-speed printing. It also acts as an effective solvent for rosin, ester gums, synthetic resins and some dye intermediates.
