Reducing Agent: Sodium Hydrosulfite

Reducing Agent: Sodium Hydrosulfite
Chemical Name: Sodium dithionite.
Compared to oxidizing agents, sodium hydrosulfite causes much less damage to fabrics. It can be used on textiles made of various fibers without causing harm, hence the name “hydrosulfite” (implying its safety). It is a white sandy crystalline or light yellow powder chemical substance. It decomposes at 300°C (ignites at 250°C), is insoluble in ethanol, soluble in sodium hydroxide solution, and reacts vigorously with water, causing combustion.
Our sodium sulfite quality control is extremely strict, with each batch undergoing factory self inspection. Click here to obtain high-quality quotes.
