Ethanol First Aid Measures
Ethanol Skin Contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing and thoroughly rinse the exposed area with large amounts of running water.
Ethanol Eye Contact: Immediately lift the eyelids and rinse with running water or physiological saline for at least 15 minutes; seek medical attention promptly.
Ethanol Inhalation: Quickly move the patient to a well-ventilated area, keep the airway clear. If breathing is difficult, have them rest in a semi-recumbent position; if breathing stops, perform artificial respiration immediately and seek emergency medical help.
Ethanol Ingestion: If the patient is conscious, have them drink plenty of warm water for dilution. Never induce vomiting in patients who are unconscious or convulsing—seek medical attention immediately.
