Reducing Agent (Rongalite)
Chemical Name: Sodium hydrosulfite
Compared to oxidizing agents, Rongalite causes much less damage to fabrics. It can be used on textiles made of various fibers without causing harm, hence the name “Rongalite” (meaning “safe powder” in Chinese). sodium hydrosulfite is a white sandy crystalline or light yellow powdered chemical substance with a melting point of 300°C (decomposition) and an ignition temperature of 250°C. It is insoluble in ethanol but soluble in sodium hydroxide solution. Upon contact with water, it reacts vigorously and combusts.
Our sodium hydrosulfite quality control is extremely strict, with each batch undergoing factory self inspection and professional SGS audits, ensuring that the quality can withstand the test of time. Click here to get a discounted quote.
