Section 3: Oxalic acid First-Aid Measures
Oxalic acid Skin Contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing and rinse the affected area with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Oxalic acid Eye Contact: Immediately lift the eyelids and thoroughly rinse the eyes with plenty of running water or physiological saline for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Oxalic acid Inhalation: Quickly move the victim to fresh air. Keep the respiratory tract unobstructed. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped, perform artificial respiration immediately. Seek medical attention.
Oxalic acid Ingestion: Gastric lavage with water or water mixed with calcium lactate, calcium gluconate, or lime water as soon as possible. Then administer 40g of glucose into the stomach.
