Solid Base Catalyst MethodIn 2014, the synthesis of hydroxypropyl acrylate HPA using solid base as a catalyst was reported for the first time at home and abroad. Although solid base catalysts overcome the disadvantages of traditional catalysts, such as complex post-treatment processes and environmental pollution, during the reaction, some pores of the solid base catalyst are blocked by large product molecules, thereby reducing the catalytic active sites and leading to a too low yield of hydroxypropyl acrylate HPA. The application of solid base catalysts in the synthesis of hydroxypropyl acrylate needs further research.
