Benzene oxidation method: Using benzene as the raw material, maleic anhydride is produced via air oxidation in the presence of a catalyst. This process is widely adopted in China.
n-Butane oxidation method: Maleic anhydride is generated via air oxidation of n-butane with a catalyst. This method is divided into fixed-bed and fluidized-bed processes based on the reactor type. For the post-treatment section, two technical methods are used: water absorption and solvent absorption.
