Ethanol Handling Precautions: Ensure full ventilation in the workplace. Operators must receive specialized training and strictly follow operating procedures. It is recommended that operators wear filter-type anti-virus half-masks and anti-static work clothes. Keep away from ignition sources and heat; smoking is strictly prohibited in the workplace. Use explosion-proof ventilation systems and equipment to prevent vapor from leaking into the workplace air. Avoid contact with oxidizing agents, acids, alkali metals, and amines. Control the flow rate during filling and use grounding devices to prevent static buildup. Equip appropriate types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment and spill emergency supplies. Note that empty containers may still retain hazardous residues.
Ethanol Storage Precautions: Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from ignition sources and heat; the storage temperature should not exceed 30°C. Keep containers sealed.
