1. Sulfamic acid, also known as aminosulfonic acid, is a white crystalline solid with CAS number 5329‑14‑6, widely recognized as a safe and high‑efficiency solid acid for industrial cleaning applications. Compared with hydrochloric acid and other strong liquid mineral acids, it features lower corrosivity toward carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and brass materials, greatly reducing equipment corrosion risk during descaling operation.
